The kris or keris is an Indonesian asymmetric dagger known for its distinctive wavy blade. The keris is also a symbol of power and ethnic pride in most societies in Southeast Asia. The kris is also one of the weapons commonly used in the martial art of Pencak Silat, which is also native to the region.
